Type the paragraph content here Blood is a bodily fluid in animals. It  delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cells and transports metabolic waste products away from those same cells. Blood contains antibodies, nutrients, oxygen etc which help the body work. In vertebrates, it is composed of blood cells suspended in blood plasma. Plasma, which constitutes 55% of blood fluid, is mostly water (92% by volume), and contains dissipated proteins, glucose, mineral ions, hormones, and blood cells themselves. The blood cells are mainly red blood cells (also called RBCs or erythrocytes) and white blood cells.

Paternity testing

Paternity testing is the most accurate method known today to confirm or dispel doubts about a biological relationship between two or more persons. The use of DNA profiling can establish paternity, whereas the resort to blood testing would only show where a particular person could not be a father.
Blood typing.  For example, if the father is of genotype AB and mother of the genotype OO, then the possible genotype of the child can be AO or BO. A child having genotype AB cannot be the child of the above said parents.
